This is a super rare factory option. The black rain sensor sits on the rear edge of the hood. As it rains the unit automatically turns on the wipers. The control module is included, as is the wiring harness.
The whole system is plug and play and easy to instal. The harness will intersect the factory harness at the wiper motor. You just unplug the wiper motor and plug the auto wiper harness across the gap. There is a green single wire on the firewall taped to the main harness. You plug the single green wire on the auto wiper harness (pictured) into this. The system is now wired.
All you need to do to finish the Instal is find a home for the control relay and double sided tape the rain sensor to the rear of the hood.
