From Aztek to Accord!!! New member
Hey all,
I must admit it is weird having a 97 accord sitting in my parking now. I am a new owner of a OLD uncared 97 Accord. In the whole Honda family this was the only make I liked. What I plan on doing with it, yet I have no clue. Right now whats important is that it runs good first. If I can get the mechanics in top shape, in about 2 years this car should be a killer. I have a vision, but like I said, needs to run good first!!! Right now its needs a new muffler, so I might just go ahead and modify it to have 2 mufflers...

avoir eu un 1998 et + ca aurais été beau, les V6 viennent déja avec je pense(mais pas sur).
a pars faire un peu plus de son ca donne pas grand chose de plus a pars savoir que t'as 2 muffler au bout d'un 4 cylindre.

Question about part swapping!!!
To what extent can I use a 1995 Honda Accord (Automatic, 4 door) for my 1997 honda accord (Manual , 4 door)?
From mechanical parts to interior. Example will the door panels fit? Can I use the chairs? Or simply what is the best years I could consider to purchase as for parts to work with mine.
One thing I notice, example the rear lights on mine are 2 parts, but when shopping online for rear lights I see them as one part, and all sellers say it will fit from a 94 to 97...

there's a lot of part you can swap between 94-95 and 96-97. In fact, almost everything
All interior are swapable. mecanical too.
The big difference between both is that one is OBD1 and the other one is OBD2a.
As for the rear light, I THINK(not sure) that outer light could be changed between both but not sure. As for the trunk itself, you can't.

So I see I got a lot to learn... LOL. So not up to date with Honda. Ok cool, so I can buy from 94 through 97 as long as it is a 4 door. I think it all changes with the 98 right?

le quebec est pas unilingue

diceallion: yeah, 4th gen is 90=93, 5th gen is 94-97, 6th gen is 98-02.
As long as it's sedan 94-97, almost all parts will work for you.
